RTX Corporation, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Production Quality Engineer in Burnsville, Minnesota. You will be the primary quality focal within operations and value streams, supporting NPI and ongoing production with APQP, PFMEA and lean practices.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree with at least 2 years of related experience and US citizenship. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to drive quality improvements across the production floor.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in production quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Apply 8D, Root Cause Analysis and Apollo to identify and resolve problems.
• Support new product development and launch activities using APQP and Stride.
• Utilize PFMEA, Control Plans, Gage capability, Process Capability and Process Flow to improve quality.
• Apply Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Continuous Flow, TPM) to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Analyze Cost of Quality and Cost of Non-Conformance to identify improvement opportunities.
