Job summary

Jabil is seeking a production oversight professional to supervise production processes and help set priorities in alignment with cost controls and operational efficiency. The role supports the supervisor in prioritizing work to meet schedules while minimizing waste and ensuring quality across departments.

The candidate will analyze production data, collaborate with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years experience or a combination of education, experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Confers with management to establish production and quality control standards and to obtain data on products ordered.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance and quality control to optimize resources.
• Reviews reports to determine causes of nonconformity and address production problems with supervisors.
• Minimizes scrap and MRO usage; ensures clean work areas and proper stocking of supplies.
• Monitors production metrics and completes monthly report cards to drive continuous improvement.
• Assists in monitoring the SPC system to identify repetitive issues and stores production data.
