Job summary

ABB in New Berlin, WI is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to drive process improvements for the US Motion - System Drives production lines. The role is onsite and reports to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, focusing on safety, quality, logistics, lean manufacturing, and automation initiatives.

You will lead safety and quality activities, participate in kaizens, support project execution, and help implement automation solutions while coordinating with vendors

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in an Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, or Operations role with working knowledge of SAP.

Responsibilities

Support safety initiatives at the site by identifying hazards and assisting with work cell redesign and ergonomic assessments.
Assist with capacity and cost improvement projects by participating in kaizens and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in daily operations.
Support project execution by coordinating with team members and stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring changes are implemented and sustained.
Assist with automation evaluation and implementation of manufacturing process technologies including robotics, vision systems, AGVs, and control systems.
