Flour Bakery + Cafe in Boston's Seaport is hiring a full-time Production Prep Cook for our state-of-the-art commissary kitchen. You will support Savory Production Chefs, follow recipes, and help maintain ingredient quality and kitchen cleanliness to meet daily production lists.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
• Stand for long periods and lift as needed.
• Operate equipment such as a dishwasher and cleaning tools.
• Excellent sense of urgency and hospitality.
• Recognize when cleaning is needed to meet standards.
• Take feedback and direction well.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and communication.
• Strong time management skills.
• Willingness to work as a team across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to ensure prep is completed efficiently.
• Follow recipes and techniques in food preparation.
• Monitor ingredient quality and vendor standards.
• Provide constructive feedback when needed.
• Handle food and clean stations per sanitation procedures.
• Assist with kitchen upkeep and deep cleaning tasks.
• Check-in orders from BK and maintain organization.
• Keep the kitchen orderly and clean at all times.
• Check-in with Production Shift Leader or Chef at start/end shifts.
• Inventory finished product and prep lists to meet pars.
• Prioritize items daily based on production loops and timing.
• All other duties as assigned.
