Job summary

Flour Bakery+Cafe Cambridgeport is seeking a full-time Lead Prep to oversee two locations, splitting time between Cambridgeport and Central Sq. You will lead prep teams, work with the Kitchen Manager, and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include executing prep lists, supporting coworkers, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and planning catering with the FOH Manager. The role offers training, benefits, and growth into leadership.

Qualifications

• Preferred 6 months of baking experience or related training.
• Demonstrate an active passion for Flour and its mission.
• Eager to learn and open to feedback.
• Dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Readily adaptable to change.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep list for savory and pastry items as written by kitchen manager.
• Provide support to coworkers to ensure efficient prep.
• Follow recipes and techniques in food preparation.
• Lead and support teams when Kitchen Manager is absent.
• Plan catering and special orders with FOH/Kitchen Manager.
• Place orders with BK and vendors; manage inventory to meet pars.
• Keep kitchen clean and organized; assist with deep cleaning.
