Job summary

Flour Bakery + Cafe is seeking a full-time Production Prep Cook for our state-of-the-art commissary in Boston, MA. You will report to Savory Production Chefs and assist with daily prep lists, prioritizing items for timely deliveries to locations.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and helping with inventory and equipment. The role requires flexibility and strong teamwork within the Savory department.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Must maintain grooming and uniform standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate equipment such as dishwasher and cleaning tools.
• Excellent sense of urgency and hospitality.
• Willingness to work in a team and help other departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to ensure prep is done efficiently.
• Follow recipes and techniques in food preparation.
• Ensure ingredient quality and provide feedback.
• Handle sanitation and clean stations.
• Assist with kitchen upkeep and deep cleaning.
• Inventory finished products and prep lists.
• Communicate timing-related issues to production leads.
• All other duties as assigned.
