Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Production Control/Planner to plan and coordinate the manufacturing workflow, establishing MPS/MRP schedules to meet customer demands and internal requirements.

This role requires experience with MRP/ERP systems, including BPCS or AS400, and strong MS Excel skills. Reading engineering drawings and analytical abilities are essential for success on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree is highly desirable.
• 2-4 years’ work-related experience in Production Control, Production Planning and/or Inventory Control.
• Minimum 5 years as a shop floor PC material planner/scheduler.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor and control product line MPS and MRP schedules that effectively support both customer demands and internal requirements.
• Respond to all customer-related inquiry requests (lead-time quotes, order status, cancellation claims) in a timely, proficient manner.
• Identify and notify Customer Service when a scheduled shipment will not be achieved and renegotiate a new ship date whenever possible.
• Generate and respond to MRP exception-based reporting to ensure due dates and priorities are defined for shop floor or procurement staff.
