Job description

· Assembling and maintaining a production build plan to meet both revenue and inventory plans.

· Maintaining schedules for individual products, adjusting for variances between actual bookings and forecast.

· Generating and maintaining all work orders in support of above activities

· Interfacing with customer service on delivery lead times for current and potential new orders.

· Maintain item master coding including those for lead time, safety stock, and make or purchase for all parts assigned to you.

· Interfacing with purchasing to schedule key long lead-time components.

· Other tasks and projects as assigned by the management of xxxxx from time to time.

· Compensation within stated salary range depends upon relevant experience

OVERVIEW

· Must have 3 years production planning experience using a production and inventory control system within an ERP environment.

· Must have experience planning products with multilevel bills of material.

· Must be competent using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

· Must have above average writing and oral communication skills.

· Math and analytical skills.

· Organizational and time management skills.

· The candidate must have completed at least 2 APICS certification courses or equivalent.
