Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks a seasoned Materials Planner to own the inventory plan for Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods. You will drive on-time delivery, coordinate with production and logistics, and lead continuous improvements in material planning and control.

You will analyze E&O, PFEP, EMP and Entitlement, coordinate across PMT groups, and mentor Production Planners while targeting optimal stock levels and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years.
• Experience with SAP and capacity planning is required.
• Proven ability to drive on-time delivery and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the inventory plan (Raw, WIP, Finished Goods) aligned with AOP/SFP.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials by managing planning, staging, and fulfillment.
• Analyze Excess & Obsolete, PFEP, EMP and Entitlement and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to manage changes in production priorities.
• Champion continuous improvement for material planning, receiving, storage, and WIP control.
• Assess workload to ensure adequate staffing and training.
• Manage material strategy for NPI to End of Life and end-to-end materials process.
• Oversee scheduling, logistics, and delivery commitment; lead inventory initiatives.
• Monitor metrics like Schedule adherence and OTIF; report to site leadership.
