RTX in the United States is seeking a Production Planner to manage production scheduling and material readiness within a 90-day horizon. You will coordinate with master schedulers, quality, engineering, purchasing and other teams to keep the plan on track and mitigate risks.

This onsite role in Fairfield requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and ERP/MRP experience. You will analyze metrics, release orders, and ensure availability of materials to support on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related STEM field by start date.
• Experience in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and materials management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsabilités

• Execute and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules connecting material and resource availability for S&OE horizon.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams including master schedulers, quality, engineering and purchasing.
• Identify risks like shortages or bottlenecks and implement recovery plans with cross functional teams.
• Track material availability and production readiness to support the production plan.
• Publish material availability data for the S&OE horizon to prioritize shortages.
• Analyze clear-to-build status to release, resequence, and prioritize production orders.
• Prepare and present key metrics for leadership decision-making on-time starts and build exceptions.
• Manage nonstandard flow of materials such as pass-through shipments and outside processing.
