Job summary

BorgWarner’s Arden campus is offering a Production Planning Intern role designed for students pursuing Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management. You will gain hands-on exposure to production scheduling, material planning, and cross-functional coordination within a modern manufacturing environment.

You will support daily/weekly planning, analyze inventory, assist with BOMs, routings, and lead times, and help improve data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is preferred.
• MRP system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production scheduling and planning (daily/weekly).
• Support material planning activities including demand vs. supply analysis.
• Help maintain planning data accuracy (BOMs, routings, lead times).
• Analyze inventory levels, shortages, and excess material.
• Support supplier performance tracking and cross-functional meetings.
