Job summary

Ichor Systems, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our Operations team. This full-time onsite role focuses on scheduling production orders, monitoring inventory, and supporting on-time delivery goals.

The ideal candidate will excel in Excel, data analysis, and cross-functional communication, with a willingness to learn ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, industrial engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory requirements.
• Release and monitor work orders to support on-time production and shipment goals.
• Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams.
• Track production progress and communicate schedule changes or potential delays.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify material shortages that could impact production.
• Maintain accurate planning data and transactions within the ERP system.
• Generate reports and assist with analyzing production performance, inventory trends, and scheduling efficiency.
• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Assist with forecasting and capacity planning activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning and operational processes.
• Ensure planning activities are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
