Job summary

FM Industries in Livermore, CA seeks a Planner to organize and control the flow of production parts, support scheduling, and respond to customer inquiries. You will coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, materials, engineering, and the Business Manager to communicate lead times and schedule changes.

Responsibilities include releasing shop orders, adjusting planning as conditions change, generating ERP/MRP reports, maintaining weekly/monthly production schedules, and handling customer

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Business Operations preferred.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor Vantage or SAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process timely release of shop orders in quantities that support upper-level demand.
• Define, monitor and adjust planning as conditions in the processes or demand stream change.
• Generate and respond to ERP/MRP reporting to ensure schedules and priorities.
• Maintain weekly/monthly production schedule, execute subsequent MRP cycles.
• Provide professional Customer service by responding to inquiries and communicating schedule changes.
