Job summary

Lozier Corporation is seeking a Production Planner to develop daily schedules and optimize manufacturing efficiency. You will align short-term plans with capacity, manage open orders, and coordinate with shop floor teams to mitigate delays and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong planning, BOM knowledge, and ERP experience in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in supply chain planning, scheduling, or inventory control if degreed; 6+ years if non-degreed.
• Experience in manufacturing settings preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook; strong data analysis and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily production schedules for assigned areas.
• Convert master schedules into executable production plans considering constraints.
• Monitor open work orders and follow up to close on time.
• Identify delays, reschedule past due orders, and communicate root causes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adjust master data, calendars, and capacity plans.
• Maintain production calendar with holidays and preventive maintenance.
• Track schedule adherence and act on variances affecting output.
• Participate in continuous improvement and capacity planning initiatives.
