Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management or equivalent is an advantage but not required
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in production planning
• Clean room experience is a plus
• Semiconductor industry experience preferred. Other industries such as medical device/biotech, or retail transferrable
• Proficiency in SAP system required
• Basic understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) will be advantageous
• Some exposure to supplier management will be advantageous
• Experience in low-volume high-mix Manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
• Collaborate from cross‑functional team of engineers, buyers, other planners, material handlers, manufacturing managers as well as escalates issues to appropriate contacts
• Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., just in time purchases).
• Ensures material standards are met and non‑conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
• Monitors cost and schedule of production orders against build plan.
