Job summary

Raycap in Charleston, SC is seeking a Production Planner to support the Master Production Schedule and inventory control to meet customer demand. Responsibilities include SAP ECC 6.0 data creation, releasing orders, and coordinating with quality and safety teams to maintain compliance.

Ideal candidates will have strong production planning experience, knowledge of BOMs and routings, and the ability to adjust schedules based on changing demand.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate job packets for the production team.
• Create material master data, BOM and routings in SAP.
• Release production orders in SAP.
• Prepare Master Production Schedule for projects.
• Initiate and update production schedules to meet demand and inventory needs.
• Analyze inventory levels and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings.
• Collaborate with Quality, Environmental, H&S to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain high quality standards and awareness of environmental policies.

Job description

Our client, Raycap, is looking for a Production Planner. Responsible for assisting with continuous updates to the Master Production Schedule to meet customer demand, support efficient operations, and maintain inventory control.

Pay: $70K - $90K + 10-15% bonus

Job Responsibilities:

Experience with Modules and codes within SAP ECC 6.0 is a must

• Prepare accurate job packets - prepare and printed accurately for the production team
• Create material master data, BOM & Routings in SAP
• Release production orders in SAP
• Prepare the Master Production Schedule for individual projects as assigned by the Production Planning Manager.
• Initiate and update production schedules to meet changing demand and inventory requirements.
• Analyze inventory levels and requirements regularly and update schedules accordingly.
• Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings.
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
• Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endures duties of high quality standards at all times
