Job summary

Web-Industries- in Dayville, CT, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate, schedule, and monitor materials and resources for efficient production. You will work with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to optimize schedules, minimize downtime, and meet customer demand while controlling costs.

The ideal candidate will have Excel expertise, ERP/MES system knowledge, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel with pivot tables and data analysis.
Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Ability to analyze data, forecasts, and production performance to drive decisions.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet demand and goals.
Proactively adjust schedules for breakdowns, disruptions, or urgent orders.
Collaborate with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to allocate resources.
Present schedules to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into planning.
Support inventory management by aligning schedules with target levels.
Attend customer meetings to understand needs and answer scheduling questions.
Coordinate with customer service to ensure on-time delivery.
Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and recovery plans for disruptions.
Monitor costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Prepare weekly/monthly production reports for management.
