Job summary

Getinge in Fraser, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Scheduler responsible for planning and controlling the manufacturing scheduling activities for Healthmark’s Manufacturing, Production and Assembly Departments. This role requires strong communication, ERP experience and the ability to collaborate across functions to meet production targets.

The ideal candidate will plan production schedules, create ERP orders, manage BOMs, monitor WIP and inventories, and drive improvements in planning processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in production planning, purchasing, logistics or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily execution of MRP activities for manufactured and purchased material.
• Plan production schedules to meet forecasted and sales demand considering capacity.
• Create and schedule manufacturing orders in the ERP system.
• Work with departments to manage schedules and execute plans.
• Recognize production constraints and adjust plans accordingly.
• Monitor components, WIP and finished goods inventory and take action.
• Ensure components are delivered on time.
• Establish and maintain BOMs and routing data in ERP.
• Analyze status and performance metrics.
• Support enhancements to the production planning process.
• Participate on cross-functional teams for safety, quality, costs, process improvements.
