Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Production Scheduler for an on-site role in Monroe, NC. You will create, own, and maintain detailed level schedules for products, from baseline engineering timings to pack & ship, and you will update the ERP/MRP system with dates and lead times.

Responsibilities include releasing shop order picking lists, resolving work order conflicts, coordinating BOM timing, assessing material availability impacts on schedules, and working with Purchasing to avoid disruptions

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP systems.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• Machine shop experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, own, and maintain an up-to-date detailed level Schedule for Products from baseline engineering timings to pack & ship.
• Update and maintain ERP/MRP system with production schedule dates and expected lead times.
• Create and Release shop order picking lists in line with production plans to ensure On Time Delivery and reduced past due orders.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within Work orders.
• Process Shop Scrap and rework transactions from the production process within systems.
• Liaise with BOM specialists to confirm machine timings, routings, and BOM accuracy.
• Assess impact of materials availability on production schedules for customer opportunities and coordinate with Master schedulers.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to expedite, reschedule, or revise material shipments to avoid disruptions while preserving stock levels.
• Acquire information from various departments to aid in completion of detailed schedules.
• Perform analysis of safety stock levels and recommend modifications with regular cadence.

Job description

This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete product delivery cycle. This position is on-site.

About the Role

• Create, own, and maintain an up-to-date detailed level Schedule for Products from baseline engineering timings to pack & ship including the creation of machine level schedules to aid production with priority lists and targets.
• Update and maintain ERP/MRP system with production schedule dates and expected lead times.
• Create and Release shop order picking lists in line with production plans to ensure attainment of company goals of On Time Delivery and Past Due Order reduction.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within Work orders.
• Process Shop Scrap and rework transactions from the production process within systems.
• Liaise with the Bill of Materials (BOM) Specialists to confirm machine timings and routings and BOM accuracy.
• Assess impact of materials availability on production schedules for customer sales opportunities that may be affecting demand for products over and above the plan and working with the Master schedulers for optimal schedule resolution.
• Work with Purchasing to expedite, reschedule, or revise material shipments to avoid production disruptions while preserving ideal stock levels.
• Acquire information from various departments to aid in the completion of detailed schedules.
• Perform analysis of safety stock levels and recommend modifications with regular cadence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience of working within a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP systems.
• Machine shop experience is a plus.
• APICS Certification preferred.
