Job summary

A leading materials company based in Indianapolis, IN, is looking for a Production Planner to manage customer orders and production schedules. Candidates must have at least 5 years of operations experience, specifically with coatings processes, and strong computer skills including Oracle. A High School Diploma is required. Production Planner

Company: Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. Location: Indianapolis, IN, United States | Req. 28041. Shift: 12-hour, Nights 7:00PM - 7:30AM

What you will enjoy doing
  • You will be responsible for day-to-day customer contact, working closely with plant personnel to schedule customer orders and respond to customer inquiries.
  • You will maintain current inventory counts for each of the different steps in the process, utilizing both Oracle as well as physical inventory processes.
  • You will be responsible for producing the daily production schedules, working closely with plant personnel and production to actively resolve issues.
  • You will be required to work with production management to set schedules, identifying and resolving potential impediments to schedules.
  • Also, you will be required to maintain an ongoing relationship with customers including delivery schedules, issue resolution and work in a dynamic team focused environment.
What Makes You Great
  • You have a High School Diploma.
  • Previous Customer Service experience (2-4 years) is preferred.
  • 5+ years operations experience required, specifically with coatings processes desired.
  • You demonstrate ability to work with many business functions required.
  • Strong computer skills (specifically Word, Excel, Oracle).
  • General knowledge of technical requirements is desired.
  • Previous Oracle experience & knowledge required.
