Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Production Technician for the 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am). Training on 1st shift may be required.

The role requires reading PMI/JSA documents, following safety procedures, operating forklifts and label machines, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, ability to perform basic arithmetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with lifting up to 40

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Able to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and capable of lifting 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear a full face or half face respirator.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred for this role.
  • 8-hour schedule Monday - Friday (02:00pm - 10:30pm); training may be required on first shift.

Responsibilities

  • Support and participate in safety initiatives and policies as needed.
  • Follow step-by-step instructions from senior operators or turnover reports.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and an organized workspace.
  • Operate machines, forklifts, and related equipment to meet production goals.
  • Complete tasks on time while adhering to safety and quality requirements.

Production Technician

Indianapolis, IN, United States | req32060 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am) Monday - Friday; training on 1st shift may be required

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks
  • Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise
  • You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions
  • Additionally, you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements
  • You will perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment

  • Required to work a 8-hour schedule Monday - Friday (02:00pm - 10:30pm); training may be required on first shift. Position may eventually go to 12hr shift in the future
