Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking an Order Administrator - Plant to provide essential administrative support to the Planning Department and related functions.

The role involves scanning, filing, and serving as backup for Planning staff to ensure continuity of order processing through production paperwork creation and distribution. The incumbent will handle data entry, document preparation, and verification of order documentation, contributing to efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, copying, and document preparation.
• Serve as backup support for Planning Department team members during vacations, absences, and peak workload periods.
• Act as the primary backup for the Order Administrator, maintaining continuity of order processing and related administrative functions.
• Create, print, and distribute production order paperwork to the assembly floor in a timely manner.
• Verify order documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to release.
• Assist in tracking production orders and responding to inquiries regarding order status and documentation.
• Scan, organize, and electronically file assembly paperwork to maintain accurate digital records.
• Manage document retention and retrieval to ensure information is easily accessible and properly archived.
• Perform other administrative and planning support duties as assigned.
