Job summary

IEM in Fremont, CA is seeking a Production Controller to support the Manufacturing team. You will monitor WIP, coordinate production activities, and help ensure on-time delivery while mitigating risks to schedules.

This in-office role requires a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 1 year in manufacturing, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP workflows. Strong communication and organizational skills will help you collaborate across engineering, procurement, quality, and maintenance to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Prefer 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Teams and Outlook.
• Understanding of how an ERP System flows.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; comfortable organizing discussions across all levels.
• Organizational skills, including coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources.
• Interpersonal skills with stakeholders across departments and growth potential in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIP and communicate schedule changes to accommodate delays or recovery plans.
• Track and report production status.
• Identify bottlenecks and help implement solutions to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide support to Production Planners and schedulers.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, quality, maintenance and other departments.
• Generate and maintain weekly production reports.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and scheduling policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
