Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own and optimize line performance on the shop floor in a high-growth environment. You will review daily output, address bottlenecks, and drive process improvements across systems and workflows.

You will partner with production, maintenance, and quality teams to stabilize processes, develop SOPs, and implement SPC-driven improvements. This onsite role requires hands-on engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering required.
• Experience working on a shop floor in production/manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with process definition, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Review production output and develop actionable plans to address performance gaps and bottlenecks.
• Spend significant time on the shop floor to engage with production teams and resolve issues.
• Own line performance and optimize capacity, labor, and resources.
• Support quality and maintenance teams with debugging and process stabilization.
• Create and update Process Flow Diagrams, operation sheets, and SOPs.
