Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing with detailed engineering documentation.
• Strong understanding of production, manufacturing, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and manufacturability principles.
• Driven to improve processes using lean manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong problem-solving for BOM and design issues in production.

Responsibilities

• Train production personnel on assembly methods, work instructions, and standardized manufacturing practices.
• Partner with product development, operations, and supply chain to improve material flow and delivery processes.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste and enhance quality via lean methods.
• Support the design and implementation of production tooling, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Evaluate manufacturability and propose design improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Create and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process change orders.
• Serve as the primary manufacturing engineer for product launches at scale.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives within Operations.
• Collaborate with fabrication and production to align designs with capabilities.
• Act as hands-on engineer on the production floor, troubleshooting and validating changes.
