Job summary

This role alternates between production and sanitation as directed by the plant production supervisor, with a strong emphasis on safety and GMP adherence. You will follow SQF principles, perform CCP checks, handle materials, weigh packages, and maintain safety equipment while meeting production targets in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Ability to apply good judgement and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision.
• Ability to solve problems with several variables in standardized situations.
• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.
• Maintain and adjust equipment to control weights per package or case.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfer finished products and raw materials to identified locations in plant or warehouse.
• Follow safety requirements including PPE as prescribed for each activity.
• Perform CCP checks as needed.
• Follow SQF principles as specified by SQF Practitioner.
• Report all food safety and human safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
