Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus.
• Ability to apply good judgement and understand to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMP during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients.
• Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on a package basis.
• Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfer finished products and raw materials to identified locations in plant/warehouse or on production line.
• Adhere to safety requirements including wearing PPE as prescribed.
• Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing.
• Follow SQF principles as specified by the SQF Practitioner.
• Report all food safety and human safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
