Michael Foods, Inc. is hiring for a production associate at our Mars Hill, Maine facility. You will set up, operate, and disassemble equipment used for producing work in progress and finished goods, with responsibilities spanning packaging and material handling.

The role combines production duties with sanitation tasks as directed by the plant production supervisor. You will reinforce safety as a core value and ensure GMP compliance throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in production environments or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and safe food handling is a plus.
• Able to communicate clearly with team leads and supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Operate and set up equipment for production and packaging.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain weights and meet production performance in a fast-paced setting.
• Transfer finished products and raw materials to designated locations within the plant.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE as required on each task.
• Perform CCP checks when needed and adhere to SQF requirements.
• Report food safety and safety concerns to supervisors or QA staff.
