Job summary

Solid Power seeks a Production Operator to support daily electrolyte powder production for next-gen battery materials. You will run mixers, dryers, jet mills, and packaging systems while following SOPs and safety protocols.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to log data accurately on batch records. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and prior chemical manufacturing or powder production experience, comfortable with powders and glovebox or controlled-atmosphere

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, powder production, or similar environments preferred.
• Comfortable working with powders and controlled-atmosphere operations (glovebox or similar).

Responsibilities

• Operate mixers, reactors, dryers, jet mills, sieves, and packaging systems according to SOPs.
• Monitor equipment performance and notify leadership of abnormalities or required adjustments.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, changeovers, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Accurately weigh, stage raw materials and powders.
• Transfer materials between production steps using approved handling methods.
• Package, label, and seal electrolyte powder following quality and safety requirements.
• Complete batch records, log sheets, and digital entries with full accuracy.
• Perform in-process checks as trained.
• Communicate any deviations, material issues, or safety concerns immediately.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical-handling protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and throughput.
