Job summary

WeatherTech Direct in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking Production Associates to operate thermoforming and/or injection molding machines, trim parts, and package products per quality standards. This on-site role offers a base hourly pay of $19.00 with additional $1.00 or $1.50 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package with potential year-end bonuses.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate paperwork, with training provided to ensure all tasks are performed

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of prior experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Have a high degree of attention to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Be able to stand for the duration of the assigned shift.
• Be a team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be dependable, with an excellent attendance record.
• Have the ability to read and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate or assist with the operation of machinery and equipment utilized in the production process.
• Use basic hand and cutting tools, including but not limited to hand trimming of various parts.
• Fill out all required paperwork.
• Lift and transfer raw material, finished product, and packed materials from conveyors and tables.
• Assemble parts, place labels on products, and package products.
• Ensure all quality standards are met.
• Train new and existing team members on different functions of the production area to ensure all are able to perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
