Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Level 2 to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used in the Injection Molding and Thermoforming process. The base hourly rate starts at $28 per hour, with $1.00 and $1.50 per hour differentials for the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
• Level 1 maintenance tech with completed Joliet Junior College courses.
• Basic math, measuring, and computer skills.
• Read/write and understand work orders in English.
• Knowledge of maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and robotics systems.
• Familiarity with Plastic Injection Molding, Thermoforming, and Automation.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools to perform maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and robotics systems.
• Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with shifts on priorities and status updates.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks and tasks.
• Use a computer to maintain data on maintenance and repairs.
• Train team members on functions to boost efficiency.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
