Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Production Associate to produce products in a timely and efficient manner for customers. You will read blueprints, set up and operate machines, and coordinate with the Cell Lead.

In a shop environment, you will use air and power tools, conduct inspections with Quality, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures. English communication and basic Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel.
• Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Communicate effectively. Ability to Read, Write and Speak English.
• Knowledge of various types of equipment such as Air and power tools, Micrometers, calipers, rulers, tape measures and gages.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
• Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints of drawings.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
• Work closely with the Quality Department to conduct inspections during the production process and verify product meets customer specifications and industry standards.
• Operate air and power tools as needed in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
• Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards.
• Follow safety rules and use safe procedures.
• Keep all tools and supplies put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.00/Hour + 10% Shift Differential = $20.90/Hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
