Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a skilled machinist to read blueprints and process drawings, set up and operate machining equipment, and perform finishing tasks. You will maintain quality through checks and documentation while collaborating in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include interpreting design documents, setting tool paths, and troubleshooting production flow, with overtime as needed to meet demand. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Shift And Schedule

This position will be working first shift, 5:30 A.M.- 4:00 P.M. , 4—10 hour shifts Monday thru Thursday.

Job Requirements
  • Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering diagrams, and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and operating machining equipment.
  • Performing various tasks like deburring, cleaning, sanding, setting up, operating the machining equipment, and troubleshooting the operation and flow issues.
  • Following the standard operating procedures, meeting the specified quality and productivity standards, and documenting time and production quantity records.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects, and completing appropriate documentation.

  • Due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency is required for this position
  • Use independent judgement and basic problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions, with a high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet company demands
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Relevant work experience
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $24.71 - $37.02 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
