Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids is seeking a Production Operator I for a high-volume slides line. You will work in a manufacturing environment, loading parts, troubleshooting from blueprints, performing changeovers, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

No manufacturing experience is required; basic reading, writing, computer and math skills are sufficient. Expect team-focused work with opportunities for growth, benefits, and a competitive pay structure.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and hand parts into the machine.
• Troubleshooting by reading blueprints on a computer monitor.
• Conduct changeovers and setups.
• Perform all quality functions and checks.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality functions.
• Perform all shop order functions, packing instructions and labeling requirements.
• Inspect parts and machinery for errors.
