Job summary

Colortech Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to run the line, ensure quality, and package finished goods. You will handle ticketing, labeling, and housekeeping while maintaining safety standards on the plant floor.

The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, forklift experience, and at least a year in manufacturing. The position offers full-time hours with overtime as needed and comprehensive benefits.”

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of one year of manufacturing or operating experience.
  • Forklift experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery to ensure output and quality.
  • Package finished goods and complete required paperwork.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow PPE policies.
  • Assist with labeling, ticketing, and forklift tasks as needed.

8-hour shifts - Monday - FridayMedical, Dental, Vision, LTD, STD insurance premiums 100% paid by company and starts from day one for employee and dependents!!!Sign-on bonus401k and company match programTuition reimbursementStudent loan payback assistance11 paid HOLIDAYSVacation and PTO timeMany additional benefitsPosition SummaryThe Production Operator (OP1) is responsible for the machine operation, finished good output and quality, packaging, paperwork, and housekeeping of a production line.Essential Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding the finished product which includes how they run, what the specifications are, and how to achieve themTrouble Shooting – Identifying and correcting equipment and material problems as they occurMechanical Aptitude – Adjusting equipment if necessary.Efficiency – Creating a quality product in a timely fashion with low scrapCross Training – Qualified to do all the jobs within the Operator I scopeA certified forklift operator.Operates forklift for various tasks.Ensures proper ticketing and labeling of boxes.Lifts weights up to 55 lbs.Wears all PPE as required by policies.Attends scheduled safety training.Follows all Health & Safety policies and procedures.Must maintain a clean work environment and be responsible for ensuring the production area is kept in respectable manner at all times.Works various hours and overtime, as situations require.Supervisory Responsibilities:No direct supervisory responsibility but provides functional or technical guidance to other staff within a work group or unit.
