Job summary

Prysmian-Group is hiring a Production Line Operator for a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule on-site in the United States. The role focuses on keeping the manufacturing operation safe and efficient, monitoring quality, and operating equipment as part of a high-performing team.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, with a night shift differential of $1.50/hour. Benefits start on Day 1, including vacation, insurance, and a 401(k) match, plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Basic math includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including scheduled weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. multiple times per day.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-performing team environment with limited supervision.
• Willingness to be trained to operate a forklift if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely while following established safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor product quality through visual and mechanical inspections.
• Perform equipment setups according to established procedures.
• Load and unload equipment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and work orders.
• Accurately record information required for quality and product traceability.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Participate in cross-training and learn additional areas of the operation.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.

Pay & Schedule:

• Starting Pay: $18.00–$22.00/hour
  Night Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour

12-Hour | 2-2-3 Schedule:

• Days: 6:45 AM–7:00 PM
• Nights: 6:45 PM–7:00 AM

With a 2-2-3 schedule, you work about half the days of the year, giving you more full days off while still working a full-time schedule.

What We're Looking For:

You don't need years of manufacturing experience to be considered. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but we're also looking for dependable people who are mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and ready to be part of a team.
