Job summary

Knape and Vogt Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids is seeking a Production Operator I to join our manufacturing team. You will load and unload parts, read blueprints on a monitor, perform changeovers and basic quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

No prior manufacturing experience is required; basic reading, writing, math and computer skills are enough. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K, PTO and holidays, plus tuition reimbursement and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and hand parts into the machine.
• Troubleshoot by reading blueprints on a computer monitor.
• Conduct changeovers and setups.
• Perform all quality functions and checks.
• Follow safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Process shop orders, packing instructions and labeling.

Open Positions:

Departments: Plating/Racking, High Volume Slides, Low Volume Slides

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm - $19/hour
• 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday 11:15pm-7:15am - $19/hour + $2/hour shift premium
