Job summary

Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Material Handler to join our Shipping and Receiving team.

You will operate Hi-Lo equipment, pick orders, scan barcodes, label shipments, and help load/unload trucks.

Requirements include 2 years shipping/receiving experience, a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of shipping/receiving, Hi-Lo or related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hi-Lo or picker in shipping/receiving.
• Use a barcode scanner throughout the day.
• Pick orders for shipment and label shipments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Conduct RF-based inventory transactions with accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
