Responsibilities

• Operate designated machinery and load/unload items from machines/conveyors, and tag products with IDs to ensure continuous production.
• Possess understanding of machine operation and adjust equipment as needed; mix ingredients according to formulas; record data; keep machines clean.
• Supply all materials to the production floor safely, timely, and efficiently; return unused raw materials to inventory.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Sort, pack, wrap, tie, and label products per procedures; weigh products and record data on labels when required.
• Observe safety precautions and perform duties to meet quality, production, and performance targets.
• Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, and willingness to assist coworkers and provide guidance when needed.

What You'll Do:

The priority is to maintain production flow, i.e., chopping, batching, overlooking line, packing, etc., and the quality of products on the production floor. Must be able to work independently, efficiently and safely. Ability to learn, and perform all duties required of the position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate designated machinery, load and unload items from machines/conveyors and tag products with identification labels to ensure continuous production. Able to recognize quality defects and inform Supervisor about any production process interruption.
• Ability to possess a thorough understanding of machine operation and inherent machine complexities. Responsible for mixing ingredients according to specified formulas, recording operational or production data, set-up and adjustments of machinery. Regularly clean the machines as needed.
• Supply all materials (including but limited to “work-in-progress” and finished goods) to production floor in a safe, timely and efficient manner and return unused raw materials to warehouse placing it back into inventory, as needed and required.
• Ability to safely operate forklift.
• Sort, pack, wrap, tie, and label products as per procedures. If necessary, weigh products and record weight and other data on product labels.
• Responsible for always observing safety precautions. Must work in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring quality, production and performance expectations are met.
• Conduct self in a manner that demonstrates cooperation, leadership, and willingness to assist fellow workers with issues as they arise and provide assistance and training as may be necessary from time to time.
