Job summary

GAF is hiring for a production teammate in our Indiana facility. You will support safe operation of equipment, assist with machine setup and product changes, and help maintain clean, efficient production lines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. Basic PC skills and reliable teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in the U.S. without current/future need for GAF visa sponsorship.
• Performs essential duties satisfactorily as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely; prevent damage and injuries.
• Participate as a crew member during downtime, start-up, product changes, and clean up.
• Assist in sheet breaks, threading machines and product changes.
• Clear machine jams to keep production moving.
• Maintain basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment.
• Complete product testing and record data; inform supervisor of process variations.
• Keep work area neat and orderly per department housekeeping procedures.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
