GAF in Chester, SC is seeking a Production Operator to join a stable manufacturing team. You will train across several operating positions, support the logistics function, and maintain safe, efficient production records.

Qualifications

• Requires H.S. diploma or GED with basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements (rulers) and perform simple calculations.
• Must be able to work in a team and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Train and become proficient in multiple operating positions (Loader, Fiber Feeder Operator, Rewinder Operator, Utility, A-Station).
• Participate in housekeeping and short-stop activities for the crew.
• Assist logistics as needed and operate equipment safely per procedures.
• Safely load/unload material using forklift/clamp-truck and other material-handling tools.
• Operate computer and multiple computer-based systems; keep accurate records.
• Maintain a positive, flexible, team-oriented attitude.
