Job summary

GAF's Chester Manufacturing facility is seeking individuals to train in multiple operating positions such as Loader and Rewinder Operator. You will participate in housekeeping, support logistics, and operate equipment safely in a team environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and a willingness to learn. Manufacturing experience is a plus; safety gear and proper PPE are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Train and become proficient in multiple operating positions, including Loader, Fiber Feeder Operator, Rewinder Operator, Utility, and A-Station.
• Participate in housekeeping for assigned crew and short-stop/down day activities.
• Assist with logistics and operate equipment safely, including forklift and other material handling tools.
