Kelly Services in the United States is seeking a Production Operator – Finishing for our manufacturing team. You will operate finishing equipment, maintain inventory records, and perform basic quality checks to ensure product quality during your shift.

This entry-level position is ideal for candidates eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced environment, with a 3:15am–3:30pm shift schedule and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, plus every other Wednesday workdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment to transform raw materials into finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and process records for materials.
  • Perform in-process quality tests (hardness, weight, pH, moisture) to meet specs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or product deficiencies.
  • Follow blueprints, layouts, and instructions for assembly tasks.
  • Track orders and coordinate workflow with production schedules.
  • Coordinate with materials planning, production, and maintenance staff.
  • Request materials and coordinate delivery timelines as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Production Operator – Finishing

Pay Rate: $20.33/hr

Shift Schedule: 3:15am – 3:30pm

Work Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (FHD Schedule)

Join our manufacturing team as a Production Operator in the Finishing Department! In this role, you will play an essential part in the production process by operating equipment, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring high-quality output throughout your shift. This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for candidates ready to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production equipment to transform raw materials into finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory and process records for all materials.
  • Perform in-process quality tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content) to ensure products meet required specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or product deficiencies to maintain optimal production.
  • Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, schematics, and written instructions for assembly and production tasks.
  • Track orders, monitor work progress, and help coordinate workflow with production schedules.
  • Work with materials planning, production, and maintenance staff to prepare and monitor master schedules.
  • Request materials and coordinate delivery timelines as needed.
  • Follow all established policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
