Job summary

WorkSmart Staffing is seeking a Production Operator in Greenville, SC, offering an hourly rate of $17. The role involves operating an end-of-line vision system, performing in-process and quality checks, and maintaining batch records in a GMP environment.

You will route rejects, assist with packing and skid preparation, and support a clean, safe workspace while following SOPs and completing required paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to follow SOPs and batch record instructions.
• Ability to perform basic computer transactions and complete required paperwork.
• Comfort standing for long periods and performing production tasks that may include occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Dependable and attentive with a focus on quality and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the end-of-line vision system to identify out-of-spec product.
• Perform scheduled in-process and quality checks and verify finished product against AQL requirements.
• Maintain accurate batch record and inspection documentation, ensuring it is complete and legible.
• Route rejects to the appropriate containers and prevent mixing of production codes/lots.
• Support bulk packing and prepare product for skid placement while maintaining a clean, GMP-compliant work area.

Job Overview

Operate the end-of-line vision system to monitor product flow, identify specification rejects, and ensure finished goods meet quality standards. Complete required batch/quality documentation, perform scheduled in-process checks, and support packing and skid placement in a manufacturing environment.
