Job summary

WorkSmart Staffing is seeking a Packer II for the 2nd shift in Greenville, South Carolina. The role involves assisting the machine operator, packaging materials to meet customer specs, and maintaining GMP standards. Training on packaging equipment will be provided.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of manufacturing experience, with a focus on reliability, teamwork, and clear communication on the line.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and promptly report concerns to supervision.
• Support packaging operations by assembling cartons/cases and preparing units for processing.
• Verify products meet quality requirements and report issues to operator/quality team.
• Maintain GMP standards, proper dress code, and PPE to prevent contamination.
• Complete assigned cleaning and basic maintenance of packaging areas and equipment.
• Maintain an efficient pace across packaging tasks while minimizing downtime.

Job Title: Packer II - 2nd Shift Location: Greenville, South Carolina 29605 Hourly Rate: $17.25 Schedule: 3:10pm-11:40pm Monday-Friday

Job Overview

Assists the machine operator to safely and efficiently run packaging equipment and produce quality materials that meet customer specifications and packaging standards.

What You'll Do

• Follow safety procedures and promptly report concerns to supervision
• Support packaging operations by assembling cartons/cases and preparing units for processing
• Verify products meet quality requirements and escape issues to the machine operator or quality team
• Maintain GMP standards, proper dress code, and correct PPE to help prevent contamination
• Complete assigned cleaning and basic maintenance of packaging areas and equipment
• Maintain an efficient pace across assigned packaging tasks while limiting production downtime
