Job summary

Sonoco is hiring a Production Worker in Pine Bluff, AR to contribute to our tube and core division. You will work on a fast-paced production line, maintain safety and quality, and collaborate across departments. Strong attendance, a hands-on approach, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Preference given to candidates with forklift certification and prior manufacturing/warehouse experience. Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Get it done attitude and urgency to resolve tasks.
• Able to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to perform repetitive duties, climb stairs, and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work quickly while maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Think on your feet and troubleshoot problems.
• Make incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality.
• Learn to set up new jobs, train on other lines and departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
• Support Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Utilize downtime for cleaning and organization.
