You will report to the shift supervisor, set up new jobs and train on other lines while performing duties with hands-on and analytical skills.

The position offers competitive pay of $27.69/hr. Applicants should have at least 1 year in manufacturing/warehouse, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and possess a 'get it done'

Qualifications

• 1 year in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read and understand manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
• Troubleshooting problems and situations on the line
• Making incremental process adjustments and monitoring product quality
• Learning to set up new jobs and train on other lines
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area
• Performing duties as designated by supervisor/manager
• Supporting Sonoco’s quality and safety policies
• Assisting other departments as needed
• Downtime is cleaning and straightening time
