Commercial Metals is offering opportunities in our manufacturing and fabrication facilities. You will participate in training on equipment, assist with loading and unloading stock, and maintain a clean work area while operating production machines according to established procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and willingness to cross-train on multiple machines. The position involves outdoor work, adherence to OSHA/EPA policies, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety policies, rules, and regulations followed consistently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Punctual and reliable with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in safety programs and uphold safety culture.
• Cross-train on multiple machines.
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
