Job summary

Quanex in Cambridge, OH is hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift Production Operators to grow our teams and produce quality products with minimal scrap on the line. The role involves setting up equipment, changeovers, labeling materials, identifying quality materials before packaging, and following all safety procedures.

We offer growth, team-oriented environment, on-the-job training, and benefits. Open interviews Tuesdays 1-3pm and Thursdays 10am-12pm from Sept 22 to Nov 19.

Qualifications

• One or more years of manufacturing experience.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely.
• Produce and use Material Identification labels.
• Identify quality material prior to packaging.
• Follow safety procedures and notify supervisor of issues.
• Attend work on time for scheduled hours.
• Maintain 5S Standards in the work area.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating with co-workers.
