Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Production Operator to join our Cambridge, OH team, focusing on producing quality products with minimal scrap on production lines. Open interviews are scheduled during select times; hourly rate starts at $18/hour with a $1/hour shift differential.

Second shift runs Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm and third shift Sunday–Thursday 10pm–6am. Benefits include 401K, ESPP, health plans, and more, with growth potential in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely.
• Produce and use Material Identification labels.
• Identify quality material prior to packaging.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S Standards.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
